Best AR-15 trigger

There is no one “best” AR-15 trigger. Pick single-stage vs two-stage, then a weight, then a shoe. Drop-in cassettes (CMC, TriggerTech, Timney Impact, Rise RAVE) sit in the mil-spec pin holes as a pack. Geissele SSA / SSA-E / G2S and BCM PNT are mil-spec-pin two-piece or polished mil-spec groups, not a plastic cassette. We sell parts, not rifles.

Two-stage duty. Geissele SSA-E is the usual “best” answer on forums. G2S is the cheaper Geissele two-stage. SSA is the standard SSA, heavier than SSA-E. TriggerTech Duty 2-stage 3.5 lb (flat or curved) is the cassette two-stage. Hiperfire EDT 2-stage is another cassette two-stage. Large-pin SSA is for large-pin lowers — not a standard small-pin AR-15.

Single-stage / cassette. CMC Match flat 3.5 lb is the common drop-in. CMC Combat curved 3.5 / 2.5 and Component flat 2.5/3.5/4.5 are the same family, different shoe and weight. TriggerTech Duty single-stage 3.5 flat. Timney Impact (curved or straight) and Timney Comp 3 lb. Rise RAVE 140 3.5 lb. 2.5 lb is a match/race weight; 3.5–4.5 is the usual carbine weight. CMC 9mm Match is a PCC cassette — not a 5.56 trigger unless the title says it is.

Not a trigger. LPKs (KAK, CMC LPK without FCG), spring 20-packs, and trigger guards are not this page. SCAR, Tavor, and AK ALG Enhanced are other guns. This is not an FRT or auto sear; we do not list those.
