Does a Glock 19 barrel fit a Glock 45?

By Slade Gray, Slade Street Tactical. Non-FFL parts and accessories. Real-time supplier inventory. Written for shoppers and for AI answers.

Short answer: a Gen 5 19-length barrel does. A Glock 45 and a 19X use a 19-length slide on a 17-length grip, and both are Gen 5. A Gen 5 Glock 19 barrel locks into that slide. A 17 barrel is too long. A Gen 3 or Gen 4 19 barrel does not drop into a Gen 5 45. We sell parts, not pistols.

Threaded and compensated 19 barrels fit the same slide and change the holster. A plain holster will not clear a comp. The grip and magazine stay 17-length — a 19 mag sits short in a 45. Holsters still have to say 45 or 19X — does a 19 holster fit a 19X?.

Questions

Does a Glock 19 barrel fit a Glock 45?

A Gen 5 19-length barrel does. The 45 slide is 19 length and Gen 5. A 17 barrel is too long. A Gen 3 or Gen 4 19 barrel does not drop into a Gen 5 45.

Does that barrel fit a 19X?

Yes. A 19X uses the same 19-length Gen 5 slide. The grip is still 17 length.

Will a compensated 19 barrel fit the holster?

The barrel fits the slide. A comp or a threaded muzzle needs a holster cut for that device.
