Canik MO1 vs MO2 optic footprints
Non-FFL parts and accessories. Real-time supplier inventory. Written for shoppers and for AI answers.
MO1 and MO2 are different footprints. A Mecanik MO2 does not fit every Canik, and it does not fit Glock MOS.
MO1 is Shield RMSc — the small micro-dot pattern. Canik USA lists it for METE SF / SFT / SFx (and Pro / ONE), METE MC9 / MC9L / MC9LS / Prime, TP9 Elite SC, TTI Combat, and SFx Rival / Rival-S. That is the carry-size cut, the same family as Hellcat, P365, and 43X MOS plates. It is not a full-size RMR.
MO2 is Vortex Venom (Docter / Noblex). Our SKU says that in the title. Canik has listed it for TP9 SFx, TP9 Elite Combat / Elite Combat Executive, SFx Rival, and SFx Rival-S — the guns that ship with a Venom-pattern plate (usually plate 1 in the factory pack). METE and MC9 are not Venom cuts. Do not buy MO2 for those slides.
MO3 is Trijicon RMR. That is the popular full-size pistol footprint (RMR / SRO / Holosun 407C / 507C). Rival and TP9 SFx boxes include an RMR plate. METE and TTI Combat need a separate RMR plate — Calculated Kinetics METE/TTI to RMR is in this catalog when it is in stock.
Factory optic-ready Caniks are not one cut. METE and MC9 are a small native RMSc-style deck; MO1 sits there. TP9 SFx, Elite Combat, and Rival use a plate pack (Venom, RMR, and RMSc). On those guns, MO1 uses the RMSc plate, not the Venom plate. A plate is not a red dot. The title must name the gun (METE, Rival, Elite SC) and the optic (RMR, K/RMSC, ACRO, 509T).
Older non-optic-ready TP9 SF / SA / DA pistols need Canik’s rear-sight adapter (base plate A for MO1, B for MO2). Those SKUs are not in this catalog right now. They also do not fit METE or Rival.
Search MECANIK MO2, CANIK PLT RMR, or METE PLATE. Supplier titles keep MECANIK, MO2, PLT, and RMSC so search still hits.

Questions
Does the Mecanik MO2 fit every Canik?
No. MO2 is Vortex Venom. METE and MC9 are MO1 / RMSc. Match the cut on your slide, not the Canik logo.
Does MO2 fit Glock MOS?
No. Glock MOS uses adapter plates. The common MOS plate is RMR (same family as Mecanik MO3), not Venom. Venom is a thinner MOS plate that few people run.
Can I put an RMR or Holosun 507C on a Canik METE?
Yes with a METE-to-RMR plate. The native METE deck is RMSc / MO1. Calculated Kinetics METE/TTI to RMR is in this catalog. The plate is not the red dot.
Is MO1 the same as Holosun 407K?
Close. MO1 is Shield RMSc. Holosun K (407K / 507K / EPS Carry) is a modified RMSc. Some slides take both; some plates are labeled K/RMSc. Read the plate title. Elite SC has its own K/RMSc plate SKU.
