Short answer: A compensator adds length. The holster and the generation must match that length. A Gen 5 19 comp is not a 43X comp.
A compensator (Faxon EXOS, Strike, Zaffiri, Ramjet-style) vents gas to cut muzzle rise. It adds length. Carry holsters and generation must match that length. A Gen 5 19 comp is not a 43X comp. A threaded 1/2x28 barrel brake is a different SKU from a slide-mounted Glock comp. A comp can change which recoil spring you need: recoil spring weights. Radian Afterburner Ramjet kits are a barrel and comp sold by model and generation: Ramjet fit.
A ported slide is not a bolt-on compensator; we list what the supplier titles. Comps are a range setup for many people. You do not need one to “Gucci” a 19. Search GLK COMP or the brand plus GLOCK.

Questions
Will a Glock 19 compensator fit a 43X?
No. Slide width and barrel thread differ. The title must list 43X/48 or 19/17 and the generation.
Do I need a new holster?
Yes if the comp adds length. A flush 19 holster will not cover a ramjet or EXOS setup.
Is a ported slide the same as a compensator?
No. A ported slide is cut into the slide. A compensator is a muzzle device. Match the title.
