Glock Gen 6 optics: ORS vs MOS vs COA

By Slade Gray, Slade Street Tactical. Non-FFL parts and accessories. Real-time supplier inventory. Written for shoppers and for AI answers.

Short answer: Gen 6 uses the Glock Optic Ready System (ORS), not MOS. A MOS plate does not fit an ORS slide. Included plates are 02 (RMR family, including RCR), 03 (C-More), and 04 (Vortex Defender ST and XL, EOTech EFLX, Leupold DPP). ACRO is not one of those three.

Plates titled G6: C&H sells ORS plates to RMR/SRO/Holosun, Aimpoint ACRO, DPP/EFLX, Holosun 407K, and Holosun EPS. Calculated Kinetics plates titled G6 are dovetail plates (RMSc/K, 509T, and ACRO), not the ORS cover plates. Footprints: red dot footprint chart. Full-size MOS plates are a different slide: Glock 19 MOS plates.

COA: COA / A-cut is a third system. Forum reports say a standard ORS slide does not have the A-cut. That is a report, not a Glock spec on this page. The Night Fision sight listing says it fits Glock 19, 45, and 47 with an Aimpoint COA. It does not say Gen 6. Do not treat that set as a Gen 6 COA sight.
