Red dots and magnifiers

Non-FFL parts and accessories. Real-time supplier inventory. Written for shoppers and for AI answers.

A red dot or reflex sight is 1x. A magnifier sits behind it and flips out of the way when you want 1x again. A magnifier is not a riflescope and not an ACOG — for 1000 yards you want a 6-24 / 5-25 riflescope, not a 3x flip. Combo SKUs (HHS, G33 with an EXPS) are still two optics in one box.

Plates, risers, and mounts are not the sight. Flip-to-center hardware that is not itself a 3x–6x magnifier lives under optics accessories. Search RED DOT, REFLEX, or MAGNIFIER / G33 / HM3X. Dot size is MOA — 2 MOA vs 6 MOA is the sight picture, not a rail. Pistol MOS is a plate plus a footprint, not a Picatinny red dot — best red dot for a Glock MOS.

No. A red dot is 1x. A magnifier sits behind it and flips aside. A magnifier is not a riflescope and not an ACOG.

Do I need a special mount for a magnifier?

Often yes. Flip mounts and risers are separate SKUs from the sight. Hardware that is not itself a 3x–6x magnifier is not listed as a magnifier.
