What gun do Army Rangers carry?

Non-FFL parts and accessories. Real-time supplier inventory. Written for shoppers and for AI answers.

The 75th Ranger Regiment does not carry one gun. The rifle in almost every current photo is an M4A1 with the SOCOM URG-I upper (Geissele MK16 M-LOK rail, 14.5-inch or 11.5-inch barrel). That is not the same picture as a Navy SEAL Mk18, and it is not an HK416. The pistol is mixed: Army issue is the Sig M17 (P320); as a SOCOM unit they also have the Glock 19 (Mk27). Not every Ranger on a hit carries a pistol — machine gunners and team leaders are the usual issue.

A Ranger School tab is not the 75th Ranger Regiment. This page is the Regiment’s small arms, in public sources. We sell non-FFL parts for those platforms. We do not sell firearms, receivers, or ammunition. A 10-round magazine here is not a 30-round Ranger mag.

Carbine: M4A1 URG-I. Rangers spent years on the Block II M4A1 with a Daniel Defense RIS II quad rail. The Upper Receiver Group–Improved replaced that: a Geissele MK16 rail, a Geissele Airborne charging handle, and a 14.5-inch mid-length or 11.5-inch carbine-gas barrel. The 13.5-inch MK16 is the rail that sits on a 14.5-inch barrel (it comes close to the muzzle; a 15-inch rail hangs past it). The 10.5-inch MK16 is the short-barrel length. BCG, mil-spec stock, and AR-15 magazines are the same pattern as a civilian AR-15. A Mk17 SCAR-H is the 7.62 rifle some squads keep — it is not the everyday carbine, and SCAR parts are not AR-15 parts.

Sidearm: M17 and Glock 19. The Army Modular Handgun is the Sig M17 / M18 (P320-pattern). A Compact P320 holster is not an M17 / Full holster. Rangers also draw the SOCOM Glock 19. In a rifle squad the pistol is often left in the arms room except for gunners and team leaders. A P226 holster is a Navy story, not this one — what gun Navy SEALs carry.

On the rail. Block II photos are EOTech or ELCAN on a quad rail and a SureFire Scout on the side. URG-I photos are the same idea on M-LOK: EXPS-pattern holographic, Aimpoint T2 on a riser, Scout-body light in an M-LOK mount. A pistol TLR-7 is not a Scout. An M-LOK Scout mount is not a Glock rail key.

Shotgun and the rest. Breaching is still a 12-gauge pump (870 / 500 / 590). Crew-served guns (M249, M240, Carl Gustaf) have no serialized receivers on this site and almost no spare parts in this catalog. Do not buy an AR stock for a 240.

What this is not. Ranger School is a leadership course; graduates are not issued a Regiment URG-I. A civilian “Ranger” marked M4 is marketing. We do not kit a clone, and we do not sell machine guns, auto sears, or 30-round magazines.

Questions

Is a Ranger School graduate issued the same gun as the 75th Ranger Regiment?

No. Ranger School is a leadership course. The URG-I M4A1 and Regiment sidearms are 75th Ranger Regiment issue, not a tab. This page is the Regiment.

Is the Ranger carbine the same as a Navy SEAL Mk18?

Related pattern, different length. Rangers run the M4A1 URG-I: 14.5-inch or 11.5-inch barrel and a Geissele MK16 rail (13.5-inch on the 14.5). The Mk18 is a shorter CQBR upper more associated with NSW. BCG and charging-handle parts that say AR-15 still fit both patterns.

Do Army Rangers carry a Glock 19 or an M17?

Both show up. M17/M18 is the Army Modular Handgun (P320-pattern). As a SOCOM unit they also have the Glock 19 (Mk27). In a rifle squad the pistol is often only for gunners and team leaders. We sell holsters and 10-round magazines, not the pistols.

Do you sell 30-round PMAGs or complete URG-I rifles?

No. This store lists 10-round magazines and 10-round bodies. We sell rails, charging handles, BCG, and similar parts — not serialized uppers, rifles, or ammunition.
